Interview Experiences
presentation, 3 interviews, lunch from cafeteria in conference room, Q&A with residents basically boiling down to how hard the call is here, tour of dept.
pleasant
Typical interview day with introduction by PD followed by 4 interviews with faculty. Have lunch with residents followed by quick tour.
Program Advantages
strong hospital in NJ, good educational focus for med students and residents, PD is very nice.
University program near NYC area. Faculty seem nice and stress that they want applicants who want to be there and are realistic about who they get.
Program Disadvantages
call seems too much for residents per the residents, they do not show you the second hospital
Residents did not seem too enthusiastic about program. Most residents come from UMDNJ system. Not much research for a uni program.
