Interview Experiences
not a good experience for me
Sat in a spartan room (no b'fast) while we waited for our interviews. Resident sat w/us and was friendly/informative. Interviews were conversational and of the get to know you type.
talk with residents, 3 interviews, noon conference, tour
mostly pleasant
relaxed, a little disorganized. friendly sit down with PD and all applicants (4 of us). two interviews, liad back. didactic.
Sit in resident room and talk to 1-2 residents, then all meet with the Chair. Brief interviews with Chair and faculty followed by lunch with residents and noon conference.
Enjoyable interview day. Some new facilities, some very old. Worth attending interview.
Program Advantages
Residents very proud of the program.
In nicer part of the Bronx. PD is said to be very nice, but was out the day I interviewed.
Nice PD, residents are very relaxed
very strong program, IR, MSK, autonomy, pathology
Very friendly faculty with good teaching. Einstein name (only Monte and Jacobi are considered AECOM programs)
Program Disadvantages
IR is weak per the residents
